What a language!!

We had our first lesson in Arabic from a personal tutor today. We are getting a few lessons before we start school at the end of August. So many new sounds to practice. It's very humbling learning a new language, one feels like a complete muppet trying to pronounce Arabic sounds from the back of the throat and sounding more like you are throwing up than producing a pleasant sound!!! Oh well, I'm sure we will get the hang of it with time.
